  1. Keep working hard! Are we allowed protein powder actually? I mean... makes sense since it's a high protein diet... whey protein?

    1. The good doctor is against protein powder, as it isn't natural. I use it, though, if it without carbs. Sure it's allowed. Just check the nurtitional label.

    2. I guess I am not as strict as I could be, but it's an egg-white protein powder with no carbs, I am allergic (not lactose-intolerant) to cow dairy. This also means that my dairy choices (goat & sheep) are not low fat, but I eat goat yogurt and goat & sheep cheese anyway, because I can't eat just fish and meat and chicken and eggs. I also eat almonds, probably way too many of them. I'm going to start my workouts this weekend, and maybe I'll focus on cutting out almonds a few times to bring down the fat/calorie levels, see what results I get.

  2. I totally get how you feel..I have 5 pounds to go to goal, and the last 2-3 weeks, I am going up and down, losing and adding the same .5 - 1.5 pounds.

No change in eating, but at this point, my attitude is whatever..I am just going to keep on doing Cruise until I hit my goal weight, which is also my True Weight per the Dukan website.

Hang in there, it will come off. This works, so it's just a matter of when, not if !

    1. Thanks for the support! Getting back from vacation, I haven't gotten completely on track yet, I hope to have my food and exercise back this weekend, and then I'll have some positive news next week I hope!

  3. Hi! Thanks for your take on the whey protein powder... I've found a brand by Kaizan that has very little fat and carbs, but high in prot and uses Stevia and not Asparatame or Nutrasweet. I think it's a great addition to yogurt.

It's great to know that some of you as well have been seeing very slow progress on Cruise during the last 10lbs. I've never been so close to goal, but I think our bodies are fighting hard to keep that weight! Just read this morning about the White Day and think I will try it today without just enough dairy to get the bran sprinkled in!

Keep perservering... my motto is "Nothing tastes as good as Skinny Feels"!

    1. I just broke through a plateau yesterday, I cut out all extras, drank loads of water and ate about 1200 calories, and finally dropped some extra pounds, so portion control can really make a difference!
