OMG, again my lungs and allergies conspired against me!  I hydrated myself after waking up, then proceeded to get puffy again from yesterday's french fries and excessive sodium.  After that, I decided to clean the kitty litter trays (2) and a mat.  I made the mistake of trying to clean them by running water over each pan for a significant amount of time while I stood next to the tub, turning the trays and mat to get them cleaner.  Before I knew it, once again I was gasping for air!  I must have inhaled way more cat allergens than usual because of the hot water spray, and I'm guessing the excess chlorine in the running water didn't help, all made worse by my lungs being compressed by my bloated digestive system.  Fortunately, I spent 4+ hours out of my house shopping, so I was able to recover.  Why do I forget this stuff?  It's really pretty scary when the only position I can breathe in is on all fours (gravity pulls down my puffy midsection, allowing more space for my lungs).  Even the rescue inhaler wasn't much help because of the salt and bloating.  I took charcoal tablets, and they did help eventually.

Dukan Diet Restart -- Cruise Week 37 Sat-Thurs

Day 262-267
Weight fluctuated 140-140.5 most of the week, then Thursday morning it was up to 143lb

Water intake: Low to medium (never high)

I've been a slacker, which is why I haven't posted (didn't want to confess?)  Highlights for the week: 

Saturday & Sunday I had gluten-free products that are higher carb.

Monday-Wednesday I ran out of my protein powder, so I had scrambled eggs and home fried potatoes at the office cafeteria for breakfast.  Monday I had a glass of wine.  Wednesday I had hot dogs for dinner, lots of sodium in addition to the bloating which started Saturday!  That's why the scale bounced up.

Thursday I had donut holes and a slice of pizza.  The donut holes (Dunkin' Donuts) were unsatisfying, but the pizza was delicious!  I took 2 charcoal capsules to minimize the bloating.  So far it's working, I was down to 142.25 this morning.

Exercise: low.  I haven't done P90X this week...  I was recovering from my asthma attack at the end of last week, but I don't have that excuse any more.  I have had after-work activities on Monday & Thursday, so I got home late on those days.

I am wearing my size 6 pants because I've been puffy and didn't want a muffin top at the office.  They're comfortable though, not tight, but it's time to shrink down to comfy size 4s.  I do like one of the pairs a lot, and I don't have them in a 4, so it's nice to be able to wear them a few times this year.

I have been trying to eat my almonds with other food, to decrease the chances of getting puffy.  So far it seems to be working!

Well, today was actually a very scary day.  I had probably the worst asthma attack I had ever had, and I was out on the street on my lunch hour, trying to get back to the office and my inhaler, before I possibly collapsed and died.  I kept looking up at my office building, and I wasn't sure I was going to make it!  I didn't take my purse (or my inhalers) with me when I schlepped a large bag of donations to the Salvation Army (3 streets and 3 avenues away), which I've done before, but evidently today the ragweed was out of control, and I was 2 streets and 2 avenues away when I realized I was in serious trouble.  I was able to call a co-worker who met me in the elevator bank on the 46th floor with my inhaler.  I was so relieved to be where someone would know what was wrong!

Another PP day today (well almost, see dinner!).  I'm being a total exercise slacker.  Hmm.  BUT I tried on my goal size 2 capris, and they fit!  At 139lb!  See, the muscle adds up on the scale.  So, I'm not happy that I get puffy from GF foods as well, but it seems I get puffy from any extra carbs.  Boo.

Went to the fitting for the little fashion show my elder DD and I are a part of on Thursday.  Got a compliment from the fitter, she noticed I had lost weight and said I looked great!  Yay!  After that, we went to a bra fitting for DD.  Now she has two well-fitting bras that she likes.  So expensive though, $170!  We'll get a few more on discount soon.

It's a PV day.  I had to laugh, as I realized I forgot to mention the COOKIES I had on Sunday.  I scarfed down 10 GF cookies.  Why on earth did I buy 2 boxes of the cookies on Friday?  One would have been more than enough.  This is why I don't keep treats like that around the house, I just keep eating them until the box/bag is empty!

Exercise:  swimming -- dipped into the pool to cool off, did about 5min of swimming 3x

Well, I did stay wheat-free, but I did take advantage of being on dairy.  I also had a rye round (fiber), and figured the scale was going to be crappy, so ate the salty hot dogs for dinner.

Surprise surprise, my younger DD had a horrible case of gas in the middle of the night. I woke up to her crying (and she's tough, she doesn't cry from pain very often) After playing Dr. House, I gave her 2 activated charcoal pills, and almost immediately she was burping and felt much better.  Plus we got back to sleep!  Turns out she had 3 meals with wheat yesterday, and for whatever reason, it was too much (pancakes, grilled cheese, leftover pancakes).

I am still out of my Colonix fiber and I didn't make any oat bran again.

Well, I am .5lb less than last Friday.  It was that Saturday's 142lb that messed my numbers up! Otherwise my average is under 139 for the week.

Water intake: 58oz & 30oz lemonade ( 88oz = 2.6l)

Exercise:  ran an errand in 30min at lunch, most of it was walking, I only spent 2 minutes at my destination.

Another loss!  Bought the gluten-free hamburger buns, GF cookies.

I am still out of my Colonix fiber and I didn't make any oat bran. Almonds have fiber!
