Well, I've been a bad girl... I'll have to get back on the wagon tomorrow.  I'll do a PP day on Wednesday.

Well, no surprise after the cookies and the amount of water I was drinking yesterday.  I still need to drink more water today.  My feet get really cold when I'm dehydrated, I guess my blood circulation isn't as good.

Milestone: Under 63kg.  Lowest weight since 2004!
 
Seriously dehydrated, I sucked down multiple beverages during the day. Then I fell off the wagon in the evening, ate a whole box of gluten-free cookies (550 cal).  I was going to have pork chops, but somehow my oven knob had been turned, and I was afraid I'd have a gas explosion if I turned on the broiler...

Milestone: Under 63kg.  Lowest weight since 2004!
 
Under 139 still.  Back to PV w/rye round & margarine.  I also had a week's rest from my 4HB supplements (you're supposed to take a rest week every 8 weeks), so back to Garlic, ALA and de-caffeinated Green Tea extract.  My goal is still 135, but I might go to a few lb further, not below 130 though.

Milestone: I last weighed this September 2008!
 

Under 139!  When I go lower than today's weight, it'll be my lowest since 2006 or 2007.  Since I had a huge block of cheese, I decided to have another PP day, trying to break my Mike & Ike habit:

It was so hot, I was going to have a frozfruit to cool down, but they only had pineapple and coconut.  So I had to get ice cream instead.  Well, since I had already had some dairy, I had a Mister Softee cone when I left Target.

Considering I had some candy yesterday and add'l carbs yesterday, I'm OK with 140.5. I'm craving carbs today.  I have to stay strong!  I haven't had a PP day in a long time,  I've been too tired/lazy to cook my yogurt sauce, maybe I'll do that tomorrow.

Like I said, yesterday's 139 was dehydration, but I'm still liking this number.  I was feeling really spaced out and draggy, mainly due to sleep deprivation, so I had some carbs, but I tried to keep it under control.  I probably won't be happy with the scale tomorrow.

I put on my size 2 ON capris, and they were close to normal sized.  I wore the 4s yesterday to work, and they were baggy and slipping down.  I had to keep pulling them up so my tummy was covered at work.

Dukan Diet -- Cruizilization phase Week 23 Wednesday-Friday

I'm calling it the Cruizilization phase, because I've added in rye bread, and celebration meals, but I'm still losing weight.

Well, Wednesday wasn't too bad.  Thursday, however, I had a LARGE popcorn and Icee at the movies, I went to a 11AM show.  What a mistake!  I felt sick as a dog by 2pm.  I had my usual chicken w/salsa, but still felt bad.  I took it easy food wise because my stomach was upset.  That night I woke up in the middle of the night, I had some sort of attack of GERD.  Ew!  That affected my taste buds on Friday. 

Friday
Weight: 140.75, lost .5lb

I ordered an omelet w/mushrooms at the cafeteria for lunch, but it tasted weird, so I only ate about 1/4 of it.  I ate the rest of my yogurt and almonds at work, then I bought a bag of Mike & Ikes on the way home.  I had my usual rye bread, but nothing else.  Fortunately no weird digestive attacks last night.

Diet since returning from vacation Week 22

Week 22
Weight: lost 2lb

I ate a version of the stabilization diet on Wed-Fri, then Saturday went on a mini-road trip to Ikea.  Lunch was the salmon & salad platter, dinner was a pint of Haagen Daz Dulce de Leche ice cream.  Sunday more ice cream and soda, a frozfruit.  The rest of the time I was pretty much eating chicken w/salsa for lunch and dinner, and snacking on yogurt and almonds.  A few times dinner was just yogurt.  Every day I've had one 100% rye "bun".  It's a relatively flat bread that's about the size of large yogurt container lid, sliced in half.  I guess it equals two slices of bread w/margarine.  No fruit really. Not a lot of exercise.

Results?  I lost the wheat bloating, dropping about 2lb.

Diet on Vacation

I enjoyed myself.  I ate 100% rye bread, potatoes, dessert, lots of fresh strawberries, salmon, potatoes.  I ate wheat, mostly in the form of desserts, and of course dairy, and wine almost every day.  I puffed up, but I still only expanded from a size 2 ON capris/shorts to size 4.  The 4s were a little snug by the time I left.  About day 18, my stomach rebelled, and I had a protein-only day.  I had to give my system a rest from the wheat and dairy, and rushing up a path to a latrine isn't fun when you're in an emergency situation!  Well, it probably isn't that much farther than the WC at the office, but still.  I also continued to take the supplements Tim Ferris suggests in his 4-Hour Body diet. Since we were on an island, I swam every day.  I wasn't doing laps or anything, it's a lake, but I burned a few calories every time. I also rowed to 20m and 20 back to the island 3 times, so that was a good amount of cardio.  There's no way to really walk 20m unless I pace up and down the path 5x.  Whatever I did seemed to work, so I'm not complaining.

I'm back!

A quick post now, then in more detail later.  I was 139.75 the day I left, and 3 weeks later when I returned I was 146.  Not tooooooo bad.  Since I've been back, I haven't really followed the diet, but I did have some very PV-type days, just trying to get by.  Today I weighed 140.25!!!!!!  I am so happy, and I wasn't even trying that hard.  I've just had a low appetite, eating lightly in the evening, etc. As I said, more details later, got to get some dog food, poor pooch hasn't had breakfast today!
