Today was our belated Christmas party (washed out by Sandy in December, our venue the Intrepid was closed for repairs then).  Had a fantastic time!  I brought my own "dessert", the oat bar, and didn't even bother to check out the desserts.

Well, the average went up a little, but it's still under 150.  I had to fix my doctor's scale, so I lost .5 from fixing it.  This week's numbers are a little inflated, but I'm not going to go back and adjust anything.

Exercise: walked 16 blocks RT (32 blocks pushing heavy shopping cart on the way home), add'l RT errands of 7 (14), 6 (12) blocks in neighborhood, walked 66 blocks in the afternoon.  Feet and legs hurt by the time I got home!

I guess I got an uptick from the beer, but I have high hopes for tomorrow morning...  I tried to keep the bad foods down, but did have the bbq sauce & frozfruit.  In my defense the frozfruit really helped cool me down, as it was getting sort of toasty on the walk.

Exciting, the scale is still going down!  I feel incredibly energized today.  I did a few pullups & chair dips last night, and my walking today extremely fast, HIIT level.  It's only in the 55-65 range, so the heat isn't slowing me down.

Yay! It was a PP day, but they had BBQ ribs upstairs, so I got them with some broccoli. Still have to work on Operation Pool Party, but it's actually 16 days away, so I have a chance to drop some fat.  I will eat a light dinner to compensate.

The average weight is improving, but it won't be as good next Monday.  Sniff.  I made the mistake of having the short ribs from the upstairs cafeteria.  They must add wheat to the sauce, as I felt just terrible a few hours later.  I self-medicated by eating three chocolate bars I had at the office.  Stupid, I know.

Exercise: 2 hrs walking in AMNH, walk across the park and down 10 blocks,walk around the Frick Museum for 2 hrs, then back across the park and another 24 blocks

I'm naturally happy the number is going down.  I'm spending the day walking around in museums w/my cousin, so as long as I don't eat terribly, I should have good results for tomorrow.

Well, I had a bunch of sweet stuff, but then again I was low in calories on the rest of the food and I walked a lot, so remains to be seen.  Feeling puffy before bedtime.

A PV day today.  My scale showed me a range from 149.0 to 149.5.  I decided to make myself feel better and went for the low number. OK, usually I take the high number, but not today.  Went out to dinner w/my mom, cousin and older DD.  Hmm.  Wonder what the scale will show tomorrow?

Another PP day. I'm putting down 149.75, because I was under 150, but the number probably would have been 149.9 on a digital scale, but my doctor's scale only does it in quarter-pound increments.  The fish is a good lunch for me, as I don't overeat.  I can put away several pieces of meat or pork.  I should only have fish or chicken on PP days to keep the portions down.

I am having a PP day.  Please, let me go down below 150 again!  My cousin told me she lost weight by cutting down on the cookies she'd been eating.  Even if I'm doing primal/dukan I have to cut down on the portions.  I think I've been overeating, so I'm going to go low for a few days, and when I have veggies, do the Dukan-friendly low-carb ones.

I went to the movies (the new Star Trek movie -- loved it!) and had one treat.  My cousin is visiting, and looks fantastic!  She said she lost weight because of me.  Last summer I'd gotten down to my optimal weight, and she decided to do the same.  Of course, I blimped up, and just can't seem to get back down. Actually, it's good to be reminded that I believed that you didn't have to be heavier just because you were older.  I was beginning to believe the CW that older = heavier.  Plateaus can almost brainwash you!

I was a little bloated this morning.  I am going to have a beer this evening for hops reasons, and it also gets the pipes moving.  I am not going to order my Colonix fiber anymore, it has stevia which I'm suppose to be avoiding!  Is it causing bloating/fluid retention?  I'll just have to rely on real food for fiber...
