A PV day today. Still under 137. The muffin top when I try on my ancient test shorts is almost gone, so I expect a drop soon. Plumbing issues again. Since I started doing 3PP days in a row, this has become more of a problem, which usually gets solved by Saturday morning when I drink a pot of tea. Well, soon enough I won't have to do 3PP days in a row anymore!

Hey Veera, how do you make the yogurt curry sauce? I kept away from all the bottled curry sauces because of hidden sugar, but if you make one yourself, I'd be happy to take the recipe from you.
ReplyDeleteAlso, the consecutive PPs were hard on me too...could you perhaps break it up, or add Rhubarb maybe? Also, no Oat Bran?
-A
I put yogurt in a pan, heat it, then I add curry spice and stir. Super lazy but very tasty. See below for comment on oat bran.
DeleteOops, forgot to add: I actually like to do the three together, that way I make sure to get them out of the way. I used to only do 2 per week, and I decided to up them to 3, and this way I definitely do all of them. My system does clear out sometime during my 4PV days, so although the scale is frustrating, it usually works out from week to week. Anyway, as I said, it's not much longer now, max 4 weeks I hope!
DeleteAre you eating your oat bran? I know once I started consistently eating it every morning for breakfast that stuff cleared right up ;)
ReplyDeleteAlso, curious, what kind of protein powder do you use?
A few years ago I did a colon cleanse which has a great fiber as part of the program. I do the clease for 2-3mos every year -- the "paranil" is the anti-parasite pills that go along with it, and yes, I actually had a tapeworm a few years ago, which I discovered thanks to the colon cleanse program. I've been taking the fiber every day for the past few years, it's the "colonix" that I post at the top of each list of the day's foods. It is also low in carbs (psyllium husk is the main ingredient), so I thought I'd stick with what works for me.
DeleteProtein powder: Jay Robb's Egg White Protein Powder. I'm allergic to cow dairy, so no whey for me. It has xylitol and stevia, but no sugar, and 4g carbs per scoop.
